Go Green When You Go Back to School

US colleges generate over 3.6 million tons of waste which is about 2% of the country’s total. Add in all of the high schools, elementary schools, etc and you’re really talking trash!

Do you know what makes up over 1/2 of all that waste?? PAPER!!

So when you or your kids head back to school in the coming weeks we here at Buy-Board-Shorts hope that you’ll keep that in mind and try to take a few simple steps to reduce YOUR paper waste. 

The easiest ones that come to mind are to use both sides of you paper and recycle. You can also use paper made from recycled paper, (is that like reincarnation?).
